Privacy Policy

Overview

Image Org is designed to organize a photo library without sending the library to the developer. Image Org has no accounts, ads, analytics, or developer-controlled servers. Photo and video review and compression happen on the user’s iPhone.

Photo Library access

If the user grants full Photo Library access, Image Org can display photos and videos, read their Photos identifiers and metadata, estimate file sizes, play videos, create compressed copies, and ask Photos to move items the user confirms to Recently Deleted.

Image Org may ask Apple’s Photos framework to retrieve an iCloud-backed item when the user views or compresses it. That transfer is handled by Apple according to the user’s iCloud settings; the developer does not receive the item.

Deletion and compression

Marking an item only adds it to Pending. Nothing is removed until the user confirms the batch and approves Apple’s Photos prompt. Confirmed items move to Photos’ Recently Deleted album, where Apple controls recovery and final deletion.

Compressing a video creates a temporary file on the iPhone and then adds a new copy to Photos. The original is kept. The temporary file is moved into Photos after a successful save or removed if the operation fails or is cancelled.

Information stored on the iPhone

Image Org keeps a small amount of app data so Pending, Stats, onboarding, and compressed-video labels continue to work. This information stays in the app’s local storage and is not uploaded by Image Org:

• Photos identifiers, media type, size, and queue or commit dates for Pending and confirmed items.
• Review-session dates, item counts, and byte totals used to show Stats.
• The relationship between an original video and its compressed copy.
• Whether the introduction has already been shown.

Collection, sharing, and tracking

Image Org does not transmit personal data or usage data to the developer. It does not sell or share the user’s information, track users, show ads, or include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Apple may process information through Photos, iCloud Photos, App Store services, and device diagnostics under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Image Org has no independent analytics or crash-reporting service.

Retention and user choices

Pending records remain until the user recovers them, confirms the move to Recently Deleted, or deletes Image Org. Historical Stats, confirmed-item records, compressed-video relationships, and the onboarding setting remain until the app is deleted.

The user can revoke Photo Library permission at any time in iOS Settings for Image Org. Revoking access stops future library access but does not change items already in Photos or Recently Deleted. Deleting Image Org removes its app-local records; it does not remove media from Photos.

Children

Image Org is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else.

Changes to this policy

If Image Org’s privacy practices change, this policy and its last-updated date will be revised before the changed practices are released.
